Dreams

I found this blog online about following your dreams.

I am a strong believer in dreaming big. But you can’t settle at that. Dreams are not fulfilled unless you do something to achieve that dream. Sitting around wishing and dreaming gets you no where. A dream + desire + motivation = fulfillment.

The writer of the blog I found mentioned how often people follow other people’s dreams. And if you think about it, a lot of people have dreams set out for them without any input. If your older brother is a lawyer, then you may feel that you have to top him. If your father is an entrepreneur, then you must be too. If not, then you will one day take over the family company. Those of royalty have a planned life as well. The daughter of the King becomes the Princess and marries the Prince. Of course there are exceptions, but there are many people in this world who either live in a shadow or have an overbearing and controlling family.

However, we can’t let others live our lives. Believe in whatever you want to believe. Feel free to question something and go against other’s wishes. Because if you aren’t living for you, then you are living for someone else. And the only one who is worthy of our life is God. He is the only one who can tell us our dreams, or where to go or what to do. He is the only one, in my eyes, who we should live for. Ourselves and Him.

This blog got me to thinking. I am guilty of being a dreamer but not a chaser! That sucks, I am guilty of coming up with all these great ideas that would proplel me to a lifee of success! I have only begun to take it serious by getting back in school. Hopefully if I continue to read your blog it will remind me to stay on track! haha

This article sounds well, but how everything is related together?
