Bush`s clear view of the problem
Filed Under Uncategorized | 3 Comments
I was reading the official physical budge from the Bush’s administration to the congress for 2009, a deficit of 500 billion of dollars in 2008. Because of the economic crisis the U.S., Are going trough at the moment, president bush cut a lot of programs, and some of them are essential for the country. Some of these programs were directed related to research and prevention of critical illnesses. In the same letter from Bush to the Congress, he presents a point on the health care system implying the system has to be changed. As he explains in the letter, the actual system is not sustainable for the future baby boomers` generation for coming retirement in the next 20 to 45 years for now. Bush says, it is the new congress duty to come up with a plan for the future of the system, and that includes also the social security system. Bush did not direct his concerns about the 47 million citizens that can not afford the high monthly insurance premiums. It is just amazing that Bush spend eight years running the country into a none stop fall, and in his last budge year, gives such obligations a new elected congress. Several new congress men admitted in interview that an implementation of a new health care system would take 10 to 15 years to really get implemented. So what happen to the 46 million and growing number of people that are afraid to break an arm and have to go the crowded emergency rooms and walk out of there with a $5,000 dollar bill? Or the same number of the population that has no preventive care medicine, because they only see a doctor when the case in serious conditions or in lot of cases irreversible? Just hope of not getting sick.

Emergency rooms- reflection of a system
Filed Under Uncategorized | 2 Comments
Peoples criticize England, France, and Canada for long waiting lines for nee surgeries while the universal health care system its being discussed to a future implementation by the new elected administration.
But there are reports that the lines in US hospitals are getting longer even for the very ill patients with emergency cases. The amount of time is getting from 20 to 36 hours to see a doctor.
This waiting time extends to any situation; patients with regular doctor visit, broken finger, children with asthma attacks, and the patients with the heart attacks or strokes which time is all will save them.
Reports also suggest Black waits longer than white and less Hispanics and those lives is areas with the larger hospitals and the same reports suggests the government has plans to cut financing to those hospitals where are the critical busiest ER to make the situation even worse.
Critics to the universal healthy care system argue that American free market should allowed the person to choose from what type of health insurance to buy for cover or choose which to doctor they prefer, but in reality, analyzing the actual system, the privatized issuance system is laughable. The insurance companies dictates which doctor you can see or which hospital you can visit for your emergencies.

Meditating in our life spam

As I was reading in Health Care Blog.com and several sites over the net, health care has been a principal debate in the rich nations. The world population has been increasing quickly over in the last decades and output quality of product is influencing in the each person`s well being. We have watch food and safety administration do lot of research on chemical used by countries like china and several other, alarming the population in what to eat and avoid. Also another strategy was to open the US population`s eyes, with the higher numbers in world in obesity, to the quality of life- to maintain a active and regular life sty exercise. Precaution and alarming population on health issues start late and that had cost US health system. Another issue that is coming to weight in the decision on the cost to maintain our system on operation is the retirement of the “Baby Bummers”. We have plenty data to prove that USA health care system is inefficiently and costly compared to other industrialized nations like Canada, UK, Germany and Japan and Brazil. USA already spends more per capita than any other nation and do not even guarantee by constitution the right for a health care program for all ages. USA just covers the 65 years and older seniors. Most of the other nations the right to a health care is written right at their constitution, and that bring a good reason to our country to start revising the over how to reduce cost and reorganize the system to save money and be able to cover the rest of the population to affordable plans. check out the following links

Can we afford a visit to the doctor?
Hi everyone!
This is my first blog on the web, and I will try to be as clear as possible with my ideas. I am originally from Brazil, so bare with me, as I may write things backwards sometimes.
As we are aware, this is a very important political year. The country is in its worse legs in history under the actual Republican administration. I`ve been living in the country for several years, and I just naturalized American Citizen a few months ago and it is my first year leaving in USA that I struggle to fit a visit to a doctor to my budget. Even worse, forget about being able to pay for health insurance plan. Everyone’s finances are getting tighter and tighter, and is not only gas` prices that are making things difficult. Health and economy to me is one of the most important issues as candidates build their political platform and we are just few months from the election. I will be posting few comments about the system.
